Blizzard reveals the 'talent system' for Heroes of the Storm
Blizzard's latest project is definitely odd. “Heroes of the Storm” is not a traditional MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). Blizzard Entertainment released a trailer revealing the “talent system” implemented in the game.
Conventional MOBA's such as Dota 2 or LoL are based on item builds and the outcome can be critical on such items. However, Blizzard announced some time ago that it will ditch the conventional system in favor of a level based talent system. Rather than fighting for gold in order to boost survivability and damage, players will only fight for more experience that will bring glorious level-ups and increased speed, damage and health.
Blizzard is also betting on its well renowned games that will offer the heroes battling for supremacy. Diablo, Starcraft World of Warcraft and other famous franchises will all send iconic figures to fight and the success they had with previous games could also bring back numerous gamers.
Heroes of the Storm is definitely an “out of the box” game and in typical Blizzard fashion promises to be a huge success. But here's a glimpse into the world of the Heroes:
