G3's cool features in detail

LG's G3 has been around for a while and the device is doing well. Sales went very well for the Korean company that is really trying to make people more familiar with their smartphone.

For the simple reason that the G3 has so many options and cool stuff, LG thought about letting enthusiasts, fans, or people who haven't already bought the phone on a few cool features. For example the “knock code” that locks or unlocks G3's screen.

The unlocking feature has a few options like pin unlock system, password, swipe, swipe or none, but the coolest one is “Knock code”. This option allows you to unlock the screen without turning it on. When the screen in off, you just have to tap the knock code anywhere on the screen and the Home screen becomes available. It's so smart it lets every user create a custom knock code. It has a minimum of 3 taps and a maximum of 8 and LG claims there are in excess of 8 million possible combinations.

Another smart thing the G3 can do is divide the screen in half and let users operate two simultaneous actions. Holding the “back” button for three second will get users into the menu and the custom menu opens up. For example it will let users watch a video on the top half of the screen while chatting on the bottom one.
