Neymar's 'superhero' photo became a Facebook hit
Neymar has been a sensation so far at the Football World Cup for Brazil, but not only on the green pitch, but also online. Brazil's star posted a photography on Facebook where he poses like an action figure along with team mate Hulk.
The photo became an instant hit on various social media platforms receiving more than 3.5 “likes”. A few days after he posted the photo the million marker was broken and when it reached 2.5 millions it was already the most popular World Cup photo.
Neymar is the most active football player at the World Cup when it comes to social media, and paring up with Hulk helped him out. The two posed exactly like two action figures. Hulk's real name is Givanildo Vieira de Souza, but got the nickname when he was young because of his obsession with Marvel's superhero. Some said he actually got these impressive muscles because of his nickname.
“I love comic book characters and when I played, my father began to say Go Hulk. Back then I was only a child, but from that time it never changed,” said Hulk.
Neymar owns four out of top five most viewed posts from the World Cup. The only other player who managed to slip in was Cristiano Ronaldo with a picture of a watermelon carved as him.
