Schumacher’s medical files are out for sale
Somebody has stolen former F1 champion’s medical files from the Grenoble hospital in France and is now trying to sell them on the internet for $70,000.
The files detail Schumacher’s surgical procedures and other medical interventions during his five-month stay in the hospital.
He was emitted into hospital after suffering head injuries while skiing in the French Alps.
The F1 legend’s manager said that, although it is unclear whether the files on the internet are authentic or not, the medical files had indeed been stolen and, because it is illegal to buy or publish confidential medical data, she is determined to ‘press for criminal charges and damages against any publication of the content or reference to the medical file.’
Schumacher, 45, is currently undergoing rehabilitation in a Switzerland hospital after finally emerging from a five-month coma.
