
Messi secures Argentina's first victory
Lionel Messi has been one of the most talked about players even before the start of the Football World Cup. Argentina's number one player scored once and brought the victory 2-1 over Bosnia.
Argentina began its World Cup campaign with a win over the debutants Bosian-Hercegovina. The match basically started with a one goal lead for the South Americans after Kolasinac scored in his own net three minutes into the game. Despite Argentina managed to create a few chances and it missed them, the game was relatively balanced.
Bosnian team proved to be a hard nut to crack and defended well another hour before Lionel Messi decided to step it. Argentina's star picked up the ball, passed a few defenders and beat Begovic with a stunner.
Ibisevic scored last for 2-1 six minutes before then end but it was not enough. Argentina is leading Group F with three points, but the second match is scheduled today between Iran and Nigeria.
