The World Cup offers USA a chance to admire Brazil
The FIFA World Cup is not only a sport event for those involved, but also a good way to travel. And travel too much maybe. German newspaper Build made up a list with the teams at the final tournament in Brazil that will travel the most.
It seems like USA will travel the most and according to the match schedule, Jurgen Klinsmann's team will travel almost 15,000 kilometers between three games. The figure is mind blowing. 15,000 kilometers in one country for three games. USA will face Ghana on June 16 at Arena das Dunas in Natal, then on June 22 Portugal at Arena Amazonia in Manaus and four days later Germany at Arena Pernambuco in Recife.
The same statistic revealed that Italy follows close with 14,100 kilometers. The top three is completed by Mexico which will travel 14,040 kilometers for the three group stage scheduled games.
At the other end of the chart and apparently it's the correct side of the chart to be is Belgium. The team plays in group H and will face Algeria in Belo Horizonte, Russia in Rio de Janeiro and South Korean in Sao Paolo for a total of 1,784 kilometers. Brazilians can complain. Their South American arch rivals, Argentina is second with 3,590 kilometers between three games.
