World's tallest roller coaster to be built in Orlando
A new roller coaster with a 174 meter drop will make Orlando, USA, home of the tallest roller coaster in the world, a record owned, so far, by the Tower of Terror in Queensland, Australia that has a 59 meter vertical fall.
Those who will dare to ride the Skyscraper will experience a vertical fall equal to a 27-story drop, alongside other loops, dives, spirals and inversions.
The novelty that the builders of the Skyscraper will bring is that the whole structure will circle around and down a monolithic tower, thus covering less ground than other such constructions.
The completion of the Skyscraper is due 2016 and it is included in a $200 million indoor entertainment complex called Skyplex.
