Coolest beaches in France
You already know that Spain has the most “Blue Flag” beaches in the world, but France can also be a sandy and sunny paradise. The country has about 3,000 km of coastline, from the North Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea and a few places to visit.
France leads the world in the number of tourist per year, but it is not famous for its beaches. However, there are a few places where the water meets the sand to create magic views. This is the reason why in mid August, French cities tend to empty.
According to French beachgoers, Cote des Basques is the coolest and number one beach in France. The beach is located near the city of Biarritz and it is famous because the Pyrenees Mountains collide with the Atlantic Ocean to create a magical place.
The second most famous beach in the country is called Palombaggia and sits near Porto Vechio, on Corsica Island. It is located on the south coast of the Mediterranean island. The top three is completed by “Plague de Pamelonne” in Saint Tropez, probably one of the most renowned resorts in France. The top ten is closed by “Plage de l'Espiguette”, a beach located near the city of Montpellier.
