Swimming in the largest pool on Earth
Five star tropical resorts tend to have generous hotels, private beaches and pools. Most of the time “bigger is better”, but in the case of a swimming pool located in Chile there is no “bigger”, because it is the biggest.
It is called the Crystal Lagoon San Alfonso del Mar and it is the largest in the world. It holds 250 million liters of water and it stretches over 80,000 square meters. The construction costs were just shy above 2.5 million dollars, but the outcome is priceless. The masterpiece was build a few years back and Crystal Lagoon company has a few other large projects.
Specialized in this kind of structures, Crystal Lagoon will build “Mohammed Bin Rashid City” a 400,000 square meter pool in Dubai, by 2020, but also a large, pool in Egypt called “Citystars Sharm El Sheikh”. The surface of the last behemoth is still unknown because it is still a project.
