Mafia clans taken down by the Carabinieri

31 people have been arrested in Sicily during a night's police raid and charged with mafia-related activities like murder, conspiracy, racketeering, drugs and arms possession.

Police reported that as many as five mafia clans had been brought down during the raid that took place near the Sicilian city of Palermo.
