Ferry survivors return to school

On April 16, the Danwon High School in Asnan, South Korea, sent 325 students on a field trip to Jeju Island on board of Sewol ferry.

The ferry sank killing at least 226 passengers of those 439 on board and leaving lots of rage and unanswered questions for the families of those deceased. About 76 persons are still missing while the hope of finding any survivors in alleged air pockets on the ferry is almost totally faded.

As the investigation and the web of blame extended, South Korean President apologized for the disaster and the Prime Minister announced his resignation.

About 70 survivors went to visit a memorial organized at the High School, where once they shared good times with their classmates that they will never see again. It was a very emotional time and lots of tears were shed while the students walked through the hallways where pictures of their colleagues that passed away were shown.
