Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to heaven' in plagiarism suit

Led Zeppelin's major hit and rock classic 'Stairway to heaven' might be stolen from another band's song.

A lawyer representing Randy California, the deceased guitarist of the Spirit band, Led Zeppelin's former tour colleague, has filed a plagiarism lawsuit against the reissue of the 'Led Zeppelin IV' album.

He claims that 'Stairway to heaven' was ripped from the intro of Spirit's song, 'Taurus', which was released in 1968.

The lawyer representing Spirit band member, California, pledged to put all his efforts into preventing the classic album from being reissued until the guitarist receiver proper credit for the song he claims he had written.
