Pitbul & Jennifer Lopez set to perform at the Opening Ceremony

Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez are ready to start the party in Brazil. The two renowned musicians will be performing at the Football World Cup opening ceremony. “We are One ” the official anthem for the 2014 FIFA World Cup was released a few weeks ago.

Pitbull touched Brazilian soil yesterday, and later today Jennifer Lopez will arrive at Sao Paolo. The “deadly” combo will be performing the 2014 World Cup anthem We are One (Ole Ole) midway through the opening ceremony which is scheduled two hours before the opener between Brazil and Croatia.

“Going back to what this record and opening ceremony in Brazil is all about it just shows that we are one. So whether Jennifer Lopez is here with us right now or on her way here it goes to show that we are one, it show we are on this record together and it shows the world unity,” said Pitbul.

The opening ceremony is directed by Belgian artistic director Daphne Cornez. “The opening Ceremony is a tribute to Brazil and its treasures: nature, people football. The sense of excitement here is amazing and everyone is very motivated. It doesn't matter whether thet are feeling tired or hot sometimes of if they have to go through routines again and again. They keep on smiling. It's amazing,” Cornez said.
