Spotify's 'best of'

Spotify analyzed the collected data coming from its over 40 million users and came up with a list comprising the most listened to songs and preferred artists.

Apparently 'Wake me up' performed by electronic dance music producer DJ Avicii is, with over 235 million streamings, the most listened song on Spotify.

The runner-up, which has been streamed 160 million times, comes from Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams and it is entitled 'Blurred Lines'.

Eminem and Rihanna are Spotify's leading male and female artists, according to data released by the music company.
