Motivated fans organize Foo Fighters concert

Foo Fighters fans in the town of Richmond, USA, annoyed that the band hasn't played for over 15 years in their town, organized and funded a concert themselves.

When the town's Foo Fighters fans got together to brainstorm possibilities of bringing the band to hold a concert in Richmond, they decided to start up a website where they would sell tickets to a Foo Fighters concert that did not exist yet.

Their set goal was to raise $70,000 but they managed to bring in a lot more than that.

One of the motivated fans received a tweet from the Foo Fighters which said: 'Well, well, well...See ya soon...let's have a good time.'
