Where should you travel in March?
Each continent has its best places to visit in a certain period of the year. Here are the best places to visit in the first month of spring:
Europe:
It is still cold in March when rainy and sunny days are alternating. Southern Europe, places like Rome or Tuscany in Italy and Barcelona in Spain could be considered the best places to go in the beginning of spring. If you are a fan of skying, then you should enjoy the last snowfalls in the Alps.
Asia:
India might be a distinct possibility, for the summer monsoon season hasn't yet started. Trekking in Nepal, with lovely sunny weather, is a good possibility as well. You can also consider Vietnam or Sri Lanka for a visit in March.
Africa:
March is the perfect time for the south of Egypt, like Luxor, where the heat will not overcome you. Senegal, the Ivory Coast and the Cameroons have a really nice weather during this time of the year.
America:
Florida, where the weather is hot and dry, is quite a very popular place right now too. Cuba is also an excellent place to go to, currently experiencing its dry season, just like the French West Indies, where the sea is warm and perfect for a swim. In Argentina, Patagonia, the weather is nice as well in March but you should be careful of the very high winds at altitude.
