Travel visa for the United Arab Emirates is no longer necessary for most of the EU countries

 

 

The United Arab Emirates announced on Wednesday that it will lift the visa requirements for citizens of 13 European Union countries, said the news agency of the United Arab Emirates.

 


Visa exemption will take effect from 22 March, and the countries covered by this facility are Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Hungary, Cyprus, Croatia and Bulgaria and is available for traveling for 30 days or less.

 

 

The United Arab Emirates will provide the citizens of the 28 EU Member States the opportunity to travel in the country without having to request a visa.

 

 

UAE government said in a statement that it has taken all necessary measures for the citizens of the mentioned countries to benefit from this feature at all border crossings.

 

 

The press release mentions that the aim is to strengthen the United Arab political and economic relations with the European Union and the promotion of tourism in both directions.
