The Palace of Miracles in Budapest

 

There are many museums in Hungary's capital city, Budapest and The Palace of Miracles is an unique place that should not be missed.

 

 

People also call it 'hands-on science museum' which signifies that the main purpose of the museum is learning by experience.

 

 

 

 

Although it was originally meant for children, you don't have to let yourself fooled: if you visit the place situated in the second district of Budapest, you will find many interesting games that will please not only children but adults as well. You can see and try unbelievable and tricky games like the coriolos room, the magic funnel, or "Ames' Room". Your manual skills, your intelligence and your courage will all be tested once you try all of the things the museum has to offer, it is amazing!

 

 

 

 

The museum is labeled as a Technology Museum and is situated in the Buda side, where the're also other places of interest, like the Buda centre or Castle. Several buses that can take you there, depending on the place you're coming from: M2, the Bus castle, 56, Tram 18, 56 - Moszkva.

 

 

 

 

The estimated time for a person to visit it completely and enjoy all the available things is somewhere around 3-4 hours. You can visit it between 10am and 6pm, everyday except onMonday, when the museum is closed.

 

 

Be sure to have money for the entrance, that is 6 euros, because there is no possibility to pay with your credit card.
