The first walking tour application launches in Macau

A new iOS app will be lunched in Macau, designed to cover the four recently created tours that take travelers off the trodden tourist routes.

The app, named  ‘Step Out, Macau’, makes it possible for the users to examine the walking tours in greater detail, while walking, for a greater travel experience.

It can be found for on the iTunes Store or MGTO website, and it includes videos and maps of the four walking trails as well as more detailed information on main tourist web sites, transportation and rest points where people can savour local dishes.

Real time directions while on track, the option to share details of your trail without problem through some social network platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and picture functions are some of the functions the application includes.

‘Step Out, Experience Macau’s Communities’ is the name under the four main walk trails can be found, each made to take in a different perspective of Macau:  ‘A Tour of Nature and Creativity’, ‘A Tour of Historical Trails’, ‘A Tour of Arts and Culture’ and ‘A Tour of East meets West’.

Produced to be leisure walks, the shortest takes about 90 minutes to complete while the longest around 130 minutes.
