Singapore - the most Expensive City of the World
According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, out of 131 cities on the list, Singapore is the most expensive to live in, of all.
The big cost for mostly everything, like driving a car or utility bills combined with the strong currency, makes Singapore the head of the list.
There is no other place as expensive as this city when it comes to buying clothes, either.
Last year's list was naming Tokio, Japan, the top of the list, now on the sixth place, but still on the first place when it comes to the price for everyday food items.
After Singapore, next in line are Paris - France, Oslo - Norway, Zurich - Switzerland and Sydney - Australia.
Asian and Australasian and some cities in Europe dominated the top 10 list.
"Improving sentiment in structurally expensive European cities combined with the continued rise of Asian hubs means that these two regions continue to supply most of the world's most expensive cities. But Asian cities also continue to make up many of the world's cheapest, especially in the Indian subcontinent." states Jon Copestake, the editor of the report.
A higher costs of groceries make most of Asia's cities be on the list of the most expensive cities.
However, there are also many Asian cities placed on the bottom of the list, like India's major cities - including Mumbai and New Delhi - being one of the cheapest places in the world.
