Holi Festival of Colors - India

 

 

Holi Festival of Colors is a traditional event in India, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil, the end of winter and the coming spring. If it seems to be a big fight with colored powders, you should know that the whole event has a symbolic significance the Asian and its importance has come to move beyond the borders of this continent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The colors come from colored powder guns of the organizers, and the bags of colors provided by these participants, all tested and chosen to not damage the skin, eyes and lungs. Every hour there is a new burst of color, so, in the end, everyone and the whole place looks like a veritable rainbow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the recent years, the festival has expanded in Europe and North America, Holi Festival of Colors becoming a celebration for the international youth, full of color, good music and all kinds of entertainment. For 2014, the organizers of the Holi Festival of Colors have started the Worldtour 2014! The event will be held in 30 cities in 6 countries: New Zealand, South Africa, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and the UK. Festival of colors carry forward the Indian tradition and its principles, introducing the idea of celebration for the victory of good and for equality between people on other continents as well.
