Beijing's night market: a feast for the eyes
Donghuamen market from Beijing, China is a bustling night market, a kaleidoscopic zoo of all the Chinese food that you might want to try (with a lot of crickets in the stick on which the vendors will "throw" an offer to convince you to buy), writes Lonely Planet.
For the ones with a sensitive stomach, there are kebab skewers of lamb, beef or chicken, corn cobs, dried noodles and fruit kebabs.
For the ones with a stronger stomach, how about some smelly tofu or a serving of fried insects (grasshoppers, scorpions, silkworms, etc..)?
