11 things you don't know about Amsterdam

Amsterdam is certainly a fascinating city. Leaving aside the numerous population freedoms, there are a lot of things you can do there and many tourist attractions to visit. 1. Do not rent a bike in Amsterdam! Trafficking in Amsterdam is dominated by bicycles, not cars. From endless tracks to storey car parks, it is a real paradise for cyclists ... but not so great to rent a bike, though easy and affordable, you'll stand in interminable queues.

2. Take a walk to the Red Light District during the day! Prostitution is legal in Amsterdam and the Red Light District neighborhood is famous for this. For the curious city tourists, rather than the red windows, the day is a good time to visit the neighborhood, especially since it is one of the oldest and finest in the city.

3. Drink a small beer! Residents of Amsterdam are big beer drinkers ... in a small size! Unlike most european countries, you will find beer glasses a quart because a smaller glass keeps the beer cooler and fresher for a longer time!
