Ukrainian gas pipeline was blasted

A pipeline carrying gas from Russia to Ukraine and then Europe has exploded in Ukraine.

The government put the blame on a terrorist act as the explosion was in the Luhansk region where separatists are most powerful.

The explosion follows yesterday’s gas delivery stoppage to Ukraine over unpaid debts to Russian gas supplier, Gazprom.

The Ukrainian people have called for new elections of Members of Parliament as they don’t regard the current ones as appropriate for the new political era.
