Too many unemployed people and not enough jobs
The recovery path Spain took after the financial crisis is a long and tough one. The latest reports show 110 unemployed people are battling for a single job. It's the second worse statistic in Europe.
Before the crisis the proportion was almost nine times smaller. However, the worryingly situation increased and reached a new high. Only Cyprus beats Spain with an average of 154 people battling for one job. The average in the European Union is quite good comparing it to the situation in Spain where there is a job for every 12 unemployed people.
The latest official report show that the most affected sectors are entertainment and construction. IN the first category there are almost 200 people for a single job, while in constructions there are 150 people for a singe job. The best sector is the scientific one where there is a job for every 21 unemployed.
However there are not only bad news coming from Spain. According to official figures, 17,000 people found a new job in March and it was the eight straight month of unemployment decline in Spain. This is also due to the ever increasing number of new jobs created within the last 12 months.
