Terrorist attack kills 31 in China
At least 31 people were killed and close to one hundred were injured in a devastating terrorist attack in China. A series of explosions hit an open-air market in Xianjiang province spreading panic.
Witnesses said two cars crashed into the shoppers, while their occupants threw explosives out. One of the vehicle exploded shortly after the impact killing tens. The attack was described as a “serious violent terrorist incident,” by the Chinese Public Security Ministry.
This is the bloodiest attack that recently hit Urumqi. Last month a bomb exploded in a railway station killing three people and injured 80. Chinese officials blamed a series of so called terrorist attacks in recent months in separatists militants from Xinjiang.
