String of violent attacks in Egypt

A bomb exploded in Cairo, killing one policemen and injuring at least four others. This is the latest incident in a 24-hours surge of violent outrage in the Egyptian capital.

Previous to this explosion, officials stated that a soldier and at least seven more people were injured after two suicide attacks in South Sinai.

This string of violent attacks comes a month before the scheduled parliamentary elections.
