One man dead in Seattle College shooting
One man killed by a gunman in Seattle. The suspect started shooting randomly in a college campus in Seattle, US. Police officials have confirmed the gunman was arrested and he is in police custody.
A young man in his mid 20s was killed, two others were injured and a young woman was badly injured after being shot by the gunman. However, the first medical report revealed all three injured are in a stable condition.
The death toll could have been bigger if four brave young student's hadn't stepped in and disarm the suspect. According to Seattle Police, the suspect went in the Otto Miller Hall foyer at the Campus and opened fire after vocally confronting a few students.
He was pepper sprayed and then immobilized. “Once on the ground, other students jumped on the top of the guy and they were able to pin the shooter to the ground until police arrived,” said Seattle Police Captain Chris Fowler.
Official reports revealed the suspect is a white male aged 26 and he is in custody. He was not a student of the Seattle University and he was carrying a shotgun and a knife.
