Germany: man awaits salvation after cave accident
A rescue operation is going on in Germany after one 52-year-old man was injured in rock fall inside a 1,000 meter-deep cave.
The alarm was raised by one of the man's companions after he underwent a 12-hour journey to the surface.
The Riesending cave, where the accident happened, is Germany's deepest cave.
Even though approximately 200 rescuers are making efforts to save the man, the whole operation is still expected to last for several days.
