German customs seize 130 kg of amphetamines
German customs made the capture of the year yesterday after they stopped a truck trying to cross the border. The truck was carrying synthetic drugs worth of millions of euros.
The amphetamines were packed in six bags that were containing almost 130 kilograms of synthetic drugs. Customs officials claim the value of the drugs on the German market is above two million euros.
The truck was coming from Spain and it was stopped at one of Germany's border with Luxemburg. The driver, a 55 year old man was arrested.
Investigators claim the cargo was destined for Southern European market. The synthetic drug haul is the largest German customs have made in recent years.
