4 victims in alleged anti-semitic Brussels attack
Two men and a woman were killed and another person was seriously injured after an unknown man opened fire inside the Jewish Museum in central Brussels, on Saturday afternoon.
Due to the location of the crime, the Jewish Museum, and the fact that half of Belgium's Jewish residents live in Brussels, the attack is thought to have had anti-semitic reasons.
The attacker fled the area after the shooting but, because everything happened in very busy area, with many cafes and restaurants, there were many witnesses to testify.
'The person in question got out of a car that was double parked, and went into the Jewish Museum where there were a lot of tourists. He opened fire. He left the museum and fled the area. The consequences of this incident are very serious because there were three fatalities […] and one victim in critical condition that was taken to the hospital,' declared Joelle Milquet, Belgian Interior Minister.
