Nico&Vinz; hit the US Billboard top 20

The Norwegian duo, Nico & Vinz became the third Norwegian band to break the Billboard Top 20 in the US. Their song, “An I Wrong” jumped to 18th place for the first time since launched.

The duo composed of Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery was formed in 2009 and vent under the name of “Envy” for a while. They renamed themselves to “Nico & Vinz” in 2010 after signing a contract with Warner Brothers in US.

Their hit, “Am I Wrong” is the second one to receive international recognition after “In your arms”, but this is the first one to make it to the US Billboard top 20. However, they have a long way to go. The first and only Norwegian bad to hit the number one spot in the most famous music chart was “A-ha” with the hit “Take on Me” in 1985.
