Sting won’t leave money to his kids
Even though Sting, with an estimated value worth over $306 million, is one of the most successful British artists, he said that his children won’t see much of his fortune after he’s gone.
The artist wants his six children to make their own path in life and become something through their own work: ‘I certainly don’t want to leave them trust funds that are albatrosses round their necks. They have to work. All my kids know that and they rarely ask me for anything, which I really respect and appreciate.’
Sting added that, if they were in trouble, he would not hesitate to help them but, as far as money goes, they still have to live on what they earn and not expect to receive everything on a silver platter.
Sting’s statements come as a new survey shows that more and more of the world’s richest worry that their children will grow up with no ambitions since they always had whatever they wanted.
