George Clooney finally decided to marry his fiancee

After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West settled for a castle in Florence as the place for their wedding another Hollywood star chose Italy. Apparently, George Clooney will marry his fiancee, Amal Alamuddin in Venice.

The famous actor has two homes in Italy, one near lake Como and one in Tuscany and said many times he loves Italy. New York Post found out the actor and his fiancee, a human rights lawyer based in London were on the hunt for a perfect location and finally decided to stop in Venice.

Information revealed by a source close to Clooney that the wedding will take place in a palace sometime in September this year. The couple was spotted on the canals and dining in Venice in May. “George and Amal want to be married in Italy, but they need a location that offers then and their guests privacy,” told a source to NY Post.

Clooney bought a mansion in Laglio, on Lake Como in 2002 for almost 12 million euros. He is an honorary citizen in the small settlement. After acquiring the property in Italy he said great things about the country media reported. “Buying a house here changed my life in a very pleasant and unexpected way. I realized how beautiful life was in Italy and how it really helped calm me and not feel so pressured,” allegedly Clooney said.
