Seth Rogen, a threat to North Korea
Seth Rogen and his latest movie, ‘The Interview’, are seen as a threat to the national security of North Korea.
If the US releases the movie which depicts the assassination of Kim Jong-un, then North Korea will see it as ‘an act of war’ and will take ‘a merciless counter-measure’, said one spokesman for the country.
‘Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated,’ he added.
North Korea thinks that the movie is ‘reckless US provocative insanity’ and actor Seth Rogen is a ‘gangster filmmaker.’
Rogen, on the other hand, seems to be fairly relaxed about the whole situation and tweeted: ‘Apparently Kim Jong Un plans on watching #TheInterview. I hope he likes it!’
He mentioned earlier that, while making the movie, he and co-director Evan Goldberg did quite a fair amount of research on North Korea, talking to people who actually met Kim Jong-un and to people in the government who are informed about the country.
