Star Wars Episode VII leaked photos revealing the set
J.J. Abrams has already started work at Star Wars Episode VII. TMZ revealed some leaked photos from the set in Abu Dhabi that feature real physical buildings, big creatures and large ships.
The director allegedly said he prefers practical effects than computer generated ones. This means the movie could look like the first few Star Wars and not like the latest CGI-heavy sequels. The US magazine revealed a bunch of photos, one showing a giant creature controlled by five men sitting inside it.
This is the biggest leak so far regarding the new Star Wars Episode VII movie set to be released next year. There is also some new information about the cast. Game of Thrones sensation Gwendoline Christie will play, but there is no word on the character.
The second word over the casting is the appearance of Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o for her performance in “12 Years a Slave”. Producers have not confirmed who she will play yet.
Star Wars Episode VII will also feature Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. The official release date is set on the 18th of December 2015.
