Troops attack Venezuelan protesters
Rubber bullets and tear gas were fired at the hundreds of people protesting in Caracas, Venezuela’s capital.
The demonstrators went to the streets after President Nicolas Maduro appealed to the opposition leaders to try and bring closure to the many months of political instability.
As the people battle with high poverty levels, high crime rates, inflation and shortage of food, the political talks led only to a fall in support for both the president and the opposition.
After months of protests, at least 30 people have been killed and hundreds other were injured or arrested.
