London: Restrictions for the european immigrants extended
London will extend the restrictions for the European immigrants, from July. The British Government says it wants "a credible, fair and transparent way to help people moving within the EU to work and equally support both immigrants and non-immigrants."
The European immigrants may request allowances and tax deductions for children three months after arriving in Britain.
On the other hand, those looking for a job, starting next month, will have to pass an English language test and will be required to improve their knowledge if their job search is affected.
The measure is part of the new restrictions announced by the British government to discourage the 'social benefit tourism', which, according to the British authorities, would draw particular citizens from Romania and Bulgaria, following the lifting of restrictions on the labor market in the UK in January 2014.
