Hamas rejects long-term truce
Egyptian officials have failed to prolong the three-day truce that Israel and Hamas agreed upon and which has ended earlier today.
Israel had already reported incoming air strikes from the Gaza Strip.
Hamas representatives said that ‘our fighters are in the battlefield with their fingers on triggers.’ They do not intend to agree to a long-term truce unless their demands are met by Israel and Egypt. Hamas wants the border blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip to be lifted.
