Bomb barrel attack kills 30 in Syria

30 people had lost their lives following an explosive barrel attack in northern Syria.

Two helicopters flew over the city of Aleppo and dropped two barrels filled with explosives and metal scraps that become deadly schrapnel upon explosion.

The death toll is expected to rise as many more were seriously injured.

Although bomb barrel attacks are regarded as a war crime, they are still used in Syria's civil war.
