Soundgarden released previously unheard demo of 'Black Hole Sun'

Soundgarden shared a previously unreleased demo version of their super hit “Black Hole Sun” from 1994.

This glimpse into the creation of the song will appear along with other demos on the reissue of the bands' forth album Superunknown due this summer.

Five discs containing 16 demos, rehearsals, B-sides, a version of the album mixed in Blu-ray Audio 5.1 surround sound, rare photos and reimagined art will appear on the bands most ostentatious edition – or "Super Deluxe".

There is also a release of a box set of vinyl 10-inches, “Superunknown: The singles” planned for Record Store Day, April 19th.

In order to support and promote the event, Soundgarden is going on tour with Nine Inch Nails in July and August.
