Sony signs heavy metal children’s band

Unlocking the Truth is a heavy metal band whose members all have between 12 and 13 years of age.

Following an ever increasing trend that is promoting extreme youth in the music industry, Sony has signed a $1.7 million contract with the band for two albums and possibly more.

‘It’s fun because they are my friends. So I can’t imagine doing anything better then playing in a heavy metal band with them,’ said bass player, Alec Atkins.

Even though they are very young, the band does have some experience behind them as they have been playing for several years now, making appearances in music festivals in the US but also playing on the streets of New York.
