Robin's expensive gifts don't impress his wife Paula Patton
Paula Patton has asked Robin Thicke to stop loading her with gifts that are meant to win her back.
Ever since she announced her split from her singer husband, he has been overwhelming her with love tokens.
The effect of his romantic gestures is quite the opposite!
A source told National Enquirer magazine: "In one two-week period alone, Robin gifted Paula with a diamond tennis bracelet, a pair of turquoise earrings and a gorgeous platinum chain that holds a diamond key".
Paula told her estranged spouse: "I can't believe you think sending all these presents is going to make everything all better".
Paula isn't impressed with any of the luxuries he wanted to spoil her with and she's looking forward to see a change in him, as a person, rather than any presents.
The source added: "She's insulted that he thinks he can win her back with pricey gifts. He knows what it's going to take, and it's nothing he can buy with money".
Though the splitting announcement was made by mutual consent, it seems that Paula is the one who asked for a divorce, while Robin did everything in his power to make her change her mind and keep him.
