Pharrell Williams' 41st birthday

Pharrell Williams celebrated his 41st birthday in style with a Spongebob Squarepants themed party in New York City.

He marked his happy event at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday (The 05th of April 2014). His wife Helen Lasichanh and showbiz pals Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Russell Simmons, Chanel Iman and Nicky Hilton were there with him to make his day special.

The party was full of images with the characters from the beloved kids' cartoon series.

A number of stars who couldn't make the bash tweeted Williams with birthday messages.

One Direction singer Liam Payne wrote: "Happy birthday Pharrell hope you have a great day look forward to getting back in the studio with you next time I'm in Cali".

Williams' Blurred Lines co-star Robin Thicke added: "Wishing @Pharrell a very #Happy birthday", and Justin Timberlake wrote, "Happy Bday to my brother, @Pharrell!!! Been killing the game forever! And you still look younger than the rest of us".
