Niall Horan jokes he'd rather sleep

Niall Horan has joked that he never went to school because he wanted to lie in bed.

The 20-year-old singer put away his education to focus on his musical career and has hit it big time as one fifth of One Direction. He's sharing his success with his bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. And yes, he admits academia was never his strong suit.

When one fan tweeted: "I bet Niall was always absent in school because he "accidentally" slept in until 3 pm" he responded with: "u know me too well".

The comment from Niall's follower came after he lazily tweeted: "Can't get out of bed!".

Things are about to get busy for the Irish star when the band will start touring Where We Are Tour in Colombia, on April 25.

"Hope I don't get stuck in the hotel in South America! would love t have a look around ,doubt it though!", he wrote.

One Direction are touring throughout the year and they will finish up in Miami in October. 

It seems there are some surprises in store for fans lucky enough to have tickets.

"you guys are gona get a serious shock when ya see the stage for the tour! it's absolutely huuggggeeee," Niall promised.
