Milky Chance's first album radiates optimism
Milky Chance, a German duet, has been enjoying a great success worldwide with their first optimistic and youthful songs. Now, the band has its first self'released album on the market: 'Sadneccessary'.
While their first songs scored tens of thousands of views and shares on social online platforms, the band, comprised of a singer-songwriter and his partner admit that only while performing on stage they realize how popular they are with the public: 'Clicks don’t reach you emotionally. So it’s crazy when you see so many clicks. It’s more when you play concerts that are very big and you’ve got so many people in front of you, that’s more touching. It’s just clicks,' said Clemens Rehbein, band member.
The boys, who both started writing songs while in highschool, stormed the European charts with their first release, 'Stolen Dance' and reached gold status at home, in Germany.
