Cher shares thoughts on Twitter
Beneath her make-up and wigs, Cher thinks she's 'quite plain'.
The star is currently performing across the US and Canada on her Dressed To Kill tour.
Yeah, she's admitting the extravagant headdresses, glitz and glamour are all part of a magical illusion she's mastered over the years, for her artistic appearance.
"I've a perfect face 4 make-up, wigs, hats! Chameleon W/Out Make-Up I'm quite plain. I'm master at creating illusion. Like magic its an art", she tweeted on Thursday.
Her next concert is scheduled for Friday, in Washington DC.
Her tour had some hiccups, however, and she confessed things were a mess at her debut show in Phoenix, last month.
Billboard reported last month Cher was 'sobbing' backstage, plus she had forgotten the lyrics for two of her songs and she was also having wardrobe issues.
She shared some of the backstage drama with fans on Twitter.
'b4 Showtime I was being fitted 4 Costumes! Shoe man is punk, No Boots, Shoes! Learned New choreog yesterday. New Wigs 2Nite! Killed ourselves', the exasperated star wrote.
Cher's crew has worked hard to avoid flaws, which made her turning to the micro-blog, oftenly, and thank officially to her responsible crew for orchestrating the concerts.
"I want 2 thank my ENTIRE work crew... & everyone involved with my show. Everyone has gone way beyond what's possible. They R the best", she recently wrote.
The star will continue her tour through the US and Canada, before taking her final bow in San Diego, California on July 11.
