Beck covers Arcade Fire

Beck covered Arcade Fire's 'Rebellion (Lies)' during his performance at the second Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday night, April 20.

The artist performed an acoustic guitar cover of the song after he told the crowd how he first heard it on a rainy day. Later on in the evening Beck joined Arcade Fire on stage.

The musician will headline three festivals in the UK during festival season and will bring his latest album 'Morning Phase'.

During a live performance at a radio channel in Santa Monica, Beck revealed he'd already started working on a follow-up to his most recent album.

"I've been working on and off on a different set of songs," he said. "They're more boisterous [than 'Morning Phase']. You're screwed with any kind of adjective but hopefully we'll get it out this year."
