UK: Anti-homeless metal spikes
The British government has set out to prevent homeless people from taking shelter on public places in big cities in the most unsual manner: metal spikes, some 2.5 centimeters long, some even bigger, have been placed around buildings, under bridges and other such places.
The odd measure sparked a great deal of controversy among citizens, leading to the formation of two sides: one that considers it 'pure evil' and 'inhumane', and another one which is happy that homeless people no longer sleep in front of their door.
