1,600 pandas flash mob big cities
1,600 representatives of sheer cuteness are now on a World Tour, storming public places in big cities like Berlin, Paris, Taipei and Hong Kong.
Part of a charity campaign that aims to help with the conservation of the endangered bear species, 1,600 panda toys are being displayed and photographed in airports, planes, theatres, public squares and other places.
The '1,600 Pandas World Tour' came to life with the help of French sculptor, Paulo Grangeon.
The number of panda toys displayed is symbolic as there thought to be only 1,600 pandas left living in the wild. The small number makes the panda an endangered species.
Companies have stepped in to help promote the campaign and thus spread the news faster. One of them, a Chinese airline, created a clip showing all the pandas happily seated on board a flight to symbolyze their arrival in the country.
